Lipstick topper that keeps color bright and moisturized?

I have this great NARS lip crayon that I would use ALL the time if so much effort didn't have to go into keeping the color from fading and smudging and my lips drying out.


Is there a topper (like She Laq from Sephora) that will moisturize while keeping the color bright, and as an added bonus, keep it from smudging or kissing off?

What you need is a lip primer. She Laq is primer for powdered products, like eyebrow enhancers, eyeshadow, and foundation.

If those don't work out for you, try long-lasting lipsticks. There's tons out there, just ask! I'm surprised that you said NARS lipstick smudges off, I love NARS. Dior and YSL are great too.
