one with blue undertones (as opposed to orange undertones).
try mac's russian red.
put some foundation on your lips first so the true colour will show and line your lips with a nude lipliner (just trace the natural line dont go over it). to make it last long apply one layer and pat it with tissue and dust with powder then apply another layer (dont pat this time) and put a layer of clear gloss over it (but don't overdo the gloss)

Look for a deeper red...not a bright one. I would think a blood color/brick color mix would be great.
