I have nice shaped lips, they are not too thin and not too puffy, they are just right, but the problem i have is what color lipstick or lipgloss i should use. And I also have a problem with my lips being dry, and once i use lipstick my lips get all dry, anybody kno what i can put on my lips to keep them moist and if u have a suggestion what kind of color lipstick to use? Thanx alot. What is the best color lipstick/lipgloss to use?
i have the same skin tone and the problem with dry lips. for lipstick i use laura mercier in ma cherie which is really pretty, it is a rosey color. for the dry lips brush your teeth with a toothbrush or washcloth at night and put lip balm on. i suggest burt's bees lip balm, softlips in french vanilla, or vaseline lip therapy in cherry.
try using a lip gloss instead of lipstick because a lot of them have moisturizers already in it and i think they look much better. l'oreal colour juice lip gloss in color of hope is great. it tastes/smells really good too. it also raises money for breast cancer. you can get most of these products at a drug store. The lipstick you have to get at a department store. also try not to lick your lips to much because that dries them out even more! What is the best color lipstick/lipgloss to use?
i would suggest a high mosturising gloss/ lip balm and a transparent pinkish brownish glittery gloss. there are some overnight treatments you can buy for your lips other wise buy a tub of vasaline and put that on as many times as you can and you can wear it with your lipstick. also nutrimetics nutri-oil is real good, i use that when i get dry lips and works a treat but is a bit costly.
for lipgloss..i suggest you to use pink...that's a safe colour, but only for lipgloss ok ^ ^
For lipstick we have different approach...you said that u have pale skin right? then peach will be good...it could made you looks fresh...
some reddish colour (ahead to dark) will made you different and amazing because it could contrast your pale skin..
Make sure that colour you'll wearing match with your wardrobe and occasion...any colour is good if you comfort %26amp; confidence enough ^ ^
A light colored lipstick looks nice on ANYONE. It works with any time of the day. If your lips are dry, use an intensive lip moisturizer like carmex during the nighttime. Also, in the morning lightly brush your lips with a toothbrush. Put some chapstick on under your lips before you put on the lipstick.
first put some chapstick on
then use a color of lipstick that suits ur face
then use a light colored lipgloss of anykind or use clear lipgloss
Try ColorStay 18 hour by Revlon. One end contains the color, applied first. Let set about a minute then apply the clear lip shine over the base color. It really does last all day. I can't suggest a color because I don't know your hair color or skin type. For dry lips, any chap stick will do but you have to wear it just about non stop to keep your lips moist, especially in the winter.
You should try lipgloss(maybe MAC) and make sure you use a moisturizer like vaseline intensive care.
cherry lip gloss or dark red lip stick. why? because they are my favorites i love those 2 colors n i think it will look good on any girl 2 me
why not red?
WIth pale skin you would need colors like I use. Like peachy or pink colors are best. I found a light, not bright, pink works best with my pale complection. Reds and other vibrant shades stand out WAY too much on pale skin. Stick with soft or earthy tones. I also will use light mochas and they look good.
I also have very dry lips and was suggested to use lip gloss and it works great, if you have that problem, that is definitely what you need. Plus lipgloss is better anyway, it shines more and is a lot prettier.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
Depend on your skin tone, if you really want to know what look best on you, you should go to a store where they sell makeup and ask them about it. Works for me.
Really depends on the color of your skin tone if you have a light pale skin tone then a peachy color would look good
If you have a bronze skin tone then more on the reddish/pinkish
If you have dark skin tone then a dark red or the same color of your skin tone
